Oh, I like Mango. I was thinking something like that, some yummy orange food, but all I could think of was a creamsicle.

Thanks for letting me know. That video is soooo sad.I bawled when I watched it.

You could go for the Irish names (red hair): Patrick, Sean, Angus....we started Irish names for some of our red tabby ferals...
Out of these I like Angus best.

Thanks for the replies and keep em' coming.
I'm gonna write all suggestions down and take them with me tomorrow and see what everone else thinks.I will be sure and let everyone know what we decide on.

I also have an orange tabby male cat that came here a few weeks ago that I need to name,so whatever we don't use for the kitten I will probably pick one out of these names you all give me.
I have named too many kitties,and I'm named out.LOL.

Regarding the signature, if you take the last backslash off the link works.

somebody posted that video a while ago and it is the most touching thing I had ever seen. that song just reaches in and tears out your heart!

I tried very hard not to cry. and I was by myself!

about your kitty kitty, my thoughts are (in no particular order):

- No. 2 (pencil is orange, but Austin Powers will work too)
- Pumpkin
- Butterscotch
- Orange Crush
- Skittles

edit: oops

I was by myself when I watched it,too.Well, actually my 3 y.o. was here and he was like "what's wrong mommy??"
I was just like "this is a sad movie"
I think if I had been in a room full of people I woulda bawled anyway. Now I can't listen to that song on the radio without tears coming to my eyes.

Anyway.Off the sad stuff.

I like Pumpkin(Quite appropriate for this time of year, huh?)
Skittles is a good one too.My cousin had a white persian once with this name.I think the reason for the name was because he had one blue eye and one green one.
Orange Crush is good too.Never heard that one before.

Heck I like all of the one's everyone has suggested. You all are doing great with the names.Gotta start writing these down for tomorrow.

I dont know how I completely skipped over AuroraViva's suggestion of sunshine. I edited it out of my post.

I love cats with different color eyes. is there a term for that sort of thing? I dont know. Naming a cat is one of the best/hardest things to do!

That's no problem.
I like that name too though.Apparantly great minds think alike since you both came up with it.

Not sure if there is a technical name for the different colored eyes or not.The cat I was talking about, well, his brother(same litter)was the same way only the eye color was reversed.Like one cat had
LEFT blue eye &
RIGHT green eye
The other one was
RIGHT blue eye &
LEFT green eye

It was pretty neat. They had the other one for a while, but something happened to him,but it's been so long I can't remember what, but they had skittles forever

You guys are soooo good at this.At this rate I'll be writing down names all night.
That's okay though,as long as the little guy gets the purrfect name.He deserves that much for all he has been through.

One more, I have ALWAYS wanted to name a male cat this, but alas, I have never had a male cat: "Fluffer McFurr." I just think it sounds so cute.
