its so weird to see a big man with a big gun petting a small little feline. its very touching!

Just think what petting that kitten ment to that solider. Some resemblance(sp) of normal life without war and death. Great picture

That's one heck of a cool soldier! And yes, I'm sure it meant a lot to that soldier to be able to pet that cat. My office has "adopted" an army unit over in Iraq (one of our customers has a son and SIL in the unit) and we send them letters and goodies and needs all the time. We found that little things (like a women's mag or scented hand lotion for the ladies and popcorn for all of them) really mean a lot to them.
