... Has anyone used them?

I'm keen to get one as I seem to be developing some carpal tunnel issues because of a damaged cervical spine.

Any experiences/suggestions appreciated

My sister got carpal tunnel really bad and one of the changes she made was to get an ergonomic mouse and keyboard. I've used it a few times and it took some getting used to, but you do. She also switched the mouse to her left hand, and learned a lot more keyboard shortcuts so she wasn't mouse clicking so much. It's the click-click-click all day that's so bad, rather than just typing.
I'm sure you've thought about your posture too, and have good lumbar support while you're sitting at the computer.

Yes I've started using my left hand.  It's due to damage.. I'm really careful with posture and support etc.

Which mouse did your sister get?  There are a few choices and they aren't cheap, so I'm keen to find out what people recommend.
