PLEASE give priorities to questions/emergencies about living cats first before answering this one.
I say "Not Urgent" because the cat in question has already passed away. Seriously, respond to those in immediate danger before this one, because this is just something we were curious about of our old cat, Kitty.
Question:
So, Kitty. A stray we rescued from our backyard. She was a fairly small, shorthaired, lean brown/grey tabby. We never knew how old she was, but a plumber (mmm-hmm, we got a PRO right here) guessed she was thirteen.
She had this sort of quarter-sized lump on her side that no one really paid attention to. When we took her to the vet, they never said anything about it. When we asked, there was nothing to say about it. It just seemed like a solid lump of flesh. It had fur growing on it, it never got bigger, she never really paid attention to it. It was just...there. For four years, that lump was there, on her side, doing nothing, being a lump.
Any ideas what it could have been? No, there are no photos.
Once again, this is NOT urgent.
