Black spots around her nipples?

Dear sir,I had my cat spyed last year,We had to watch her swelling under her stomach.The swelling went down.I noticed she has black near her one nipple and it is swallen.She eats good uses the cat box and plays from time to time.I hope and pray it isnt anything bad.I love my cat can you give me a idea what it is.thank you very much.theresa washburn

 If this is something new (the swelling and black spot), then you should take her in to be seen by a Vet.  It's pretty much impossible to know what it might be without examining her.  I'm guessing you were able to examine it pretty closely and it's doesn't seem to bother her?  Does it appear to be a growth? 

Since you responded to a thread that is almost four years old, it might be better if you started a thread of your own, that way people would be more apt to reply, and if you could provide a picture of the area, that would help too, just in case anyone has any ideas.
