How old is he?   How long had you him?

Do you weigh him every day? How is the weigh dewelopment each day?

I shall write down some links useful for orphaned kittens in the next minutes. I´ll be back!

The meowing sounds almost he doesnt get enough...  You can also have a teddy bear or similiar with him, so he will feel he has company. It may be THIS he is crying for...

What kmr are you using?

You know he shall lie on belly, head up when feeing? Seems akward, but it is how cats do it.

A nice tip discovered by one forumite is, you held a hand over the kittens back, while it is nursing the bottle....

He shall of course be kept warm - although not too warm either.

Read on, keep reporting and asking!

 Good luck!

Proceeding.  Im not sure burping is necessary, not like with human children.  If you did the nursing correctly, tummy down, head up, and the bottle nursing not too quick - if you use dropper so in the cheek, slowly, so burping seldom necessary.

Stimulating  for leaving of wastes is necessary, and I suppose some burping happens there, if it is needed.

ps. Where you do live? your nick sounds japanese?

What Im perhaps want to get to, if you can get hold on raw goat milk, it is maybe better than most kmr.  Even bottled goat milk is OK, if you cant get a good kmr.

You do not need to burp him.  I've never done this and I've successfully hand-raised a lot of kittens.  It is VERY normal for him to sleep A LOT especially if he is 4 weeks or younger.

However, I agree with StefanZ that you should be weighing him. This will be the best indication of if he is doing well or not!! and I second his other comments about how to feed. If you are feeding him in the correct position this also eliminates the need for burping.  As StefanZ also says, you do need to help him by stimulating for waste, so do not stop that.    Good luck :)
