Having a shower at 6:15am wishing I was still in bed, when suddenly this guy ran across my foot:

I certainly felt more alert after that! I screamed like a little girl and Pushkin came running. He just stood in the doorway watching though, so I had to call Wiggies for assistance.

He ended up on the balcony and I'm sure he'll startle me again one day as I'm watering my plants.

We just had one in our kitchen not 15 minutes ago! Mogli was upset that I got it before he did. :lol3:

What are those buggers called anyways? I get them in my apartment, but thankfully never one that big! (watch, I'll get a monster one next)

YIKES... heebie jeebies.... That MUST have been one heck of a wake up and I guess the little monster wanted a shower too. :lol3: I have to say, I saw one in my garage about three times that size the other day. Sent me into a tizzy. :scatter: I have noticed that bugs here in NWI are HUGE compared to where I lived in Illinois. Not sure why that would be, but it is true. Spiders, centipedes, Sow bugs, and huge black beetles run rampant.

Oh. My.  I'd have climbed the walls!!

About a month ago DD had been out with my parents somewhere and needed a good bath before bed.  One of those either fell out of her clothing or just came out from under the towel I had on the floor. All I know is it wasn't there one second and then there it was the next.  I show no mercy.  I tried to shake it into the toilet but it wouldn't cooperate. DH had to come rescue me.  I still can barely think about that thing being in her clothing.

Looks like a silverfish??

I was on the treadmill the other morning and saw one climbing up the wall in the basement by the window. Got off the treadmill, hit with many(!) sprays of Lysol cleaner until it dropped to the floor, scooped it up in a paper towel and threw it away....outside in the trash can, not inside. Got back on the treadmill.

I hate them. I don't think they're harmful, other than to book pages and such. But I hate them anyway.
