Well I went to visit my parents in the country so I stopped by tractor supply and found this food. The ingredients looked decent and the price was cheaper than friskies so I picked up 8 cans of the adult chicken formula. I get home and split a can up as a taste test and not a single one of the cats will touch it. I then tried to put a few freeze dried toppers on the food. They won't even fish the treats out.

Cali who is not a picky eater by any means will not even touch it. lol.

Guess adding this brand to the rotation is not going to be immediately received.

I bought some Friskies pate types that are not available in my hometown the last time I went to the city, and they hated most of them. Go figure. Remember the advertising slogan "for finicky cats"?

4Health canned food is very high in veggie/grain/carb content, much higher than Friskies. I'll have to run the numbers again to be sure, but I think it came out to around 25% carbs :/ (Friskies pate is only about 14% carbs). My cats also won't touch the Chicken and Rice flavor, but they do enjoy the Turkey and Salmon flavor.

Yep the ingredients are not the best but I thought I would try it out. 8 cans is not even 2 days worth of food in this house. Lol. My cats either like the cheap friskies or Merrick or blue Buffalo. Just thought I would try something new in case I could add it to the rotation. It is an 1.5 hour drive to tractor supply.
