I'm gonna be hated this afternoon

Just dropped Morris off to get fixed.... he won't come near me for a few days ( I wouldn't either if I just lost my um um ahem)

I think Morris will be soooo relieved when you come to take him back home!!! When I picked Snowball up after his surgery, he was snuggling and purring, and he had forgotten all about it by the next morning.

Let us know how Morris is doing!

When I picked up Max after his (ahem) procedure I could hear him complaining all the way from the back (he was the most mornful cry when we go to the vet). He was way back in his kitty carrier and when he saw me he rushed to the front of it. He was so relieved and happy to see his Mommy - you could see it on his face (and he stopped that awful meowing). I waited until we were in the van and I took him out of the carrier and held him and he just purred all the way home.

I'm sure your Morris will be the same.

Morris will go right to you. You can put your fears and guilt to rest. Thank you for being a responsible pet owner and getting him neutered.

Stop worrying, when I went to fixed I did not hate my wife after!! Its better for me, I got to keep the meat and two veg, he loses the veg completely.....

Carol isn't the only one laughing!

Marvin will be fine. He might be a little loopy for a few hours afterward but other than that he'll be great. We had Simon snipped about a month and a half ago and I don't think they even register that they aren't quite whole.

LOL...you're in the same boat i am! i just dropped off my boy Li this morning and should be picking him up in about 3.5 hours....POOR BOY! he didn't want to go this morning, and once he realized that i was going to leave him, he tried to be all cuddly and cute to try and dissuade me from leaving him!! i felt so bad!! i'm going to be extra sweet to him once he gets home... so i hope that Morris feels better and i'll let Li know that he wasn't alone in his surgery today.

kev - why do I think that Carol gets to laugh at you often (sorry - with you).

I have a feeling that Carol and I will get along very well when you guys move to Toronto (btw - still working on that info for you).

Let us know how he does! I'm sure he'll be fine. And BTW, why would he be mad at you? You "rescued" him from the vet! (So he thinks . . . )

Possibly , cause I goof around so much - there are many times that I accidently on purpose fall over, get knocked over by something like our son or just do something that makes her laugh. I hate to see her in tears and rather see tears of laughter from her face. Its better that she laughs at me and if what i do or say brings a smile - even for a moment it allows someone to forget if they are unhappy - hell whats a bruise or two to me? Its worth it for sure.

what do you think goes through a cats mind when they realise whats been done and they come out of surgery. I bet they say things like.. "ahhh nuts" - "hang on where they go?"
"..leg, leg, meat, wheres the veg gone"
"they put a bucket on my head - now wheres my ass?, never mind that - wheres the pom poms gone?"

Everything went fine, he looked a bit loopy when I picked him up but other than that the vet said everything went fine.

hmmmm... that has got to be the best u have ever said kev... i couldn't stop laughing and my colleagues thought i was getting too much stressed up cos i was laughing out loud in front of my workstation... boy, u crack me up way too much..my sides are hurting...
