I adopted a stray cat and when I took her to the vets to br spayed they said they couldnt as they think she was far along in the pregnancy. I ask the vet roughly how long has she got left and they said no longer than four weeks. The past week she has been super affectionate, been hiding under my bed, behind sofas and things so I thought labour would be soon however I havent seen the kittens move at all in her stomach, sometimes when I press gently on her belly I think I feel a little movement but not sure. Could the kittens be dead inside her or is she just not far alon enough.

Not far enough I think.  You can usually feel the kittens move about 2 weeks before, perhaps some day earlier, and the vet said at most 4 weeks left, so it agrees with each other.

So you have almost 3 weeks on you to prepare and read on!  There are articles on our Forum, and also the other threads...  :)

Good luck!

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Ive never expierienced a cat having kittens so its all new to me, if she is six weeks pregnant, will I see them move in the nextweek. Im a worrier as she has became an important addition to my family x
