So sorry to hear that, Laurie. I hope his passing was peaceful. One day soon, we will all be reunited with the loved ones we have lost.

The hardest thing in life is losing your parents or your child. Father's day is coming up on the 16th and that day I go in morning. I cry all day thinking about my dad who passed away in 1995.
I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad 2 years ago and my Sister 3 months ago.
Aw Laurie, my continued thoughts and prayers are yours during this time. I am glad that you will have your family all together this week to celebrate your dad's beautiful life and reminisce the joyful times as I am certain there are many. It's been so nice having my mom and sister up here - we're getting together with my brother tomorrow. :heart2: And that's what's left of the family. :heart3:
Having my mom arrive without my dad made it all real... and we're all doing OK. It wasn't unexpected, and we're all so very blessed that I do have a wonderful mom and dad, so there are lots of great memories to talk about. :heart2:
