Friday I am spending the morning getting beautiful, haircut, stye, fingernails manicured, etc to get lovely. My high school class will celebrate on Saturday evening. We will have a meal and a wonderful time together seeing everyone. I am very thankful to be still here on this earth and in good enough health to attend.

Oh have fun!!  Do you keep in contact with people from high school regularly?

My Grandpa has been going to his class reunions; I think he is at 73 years or so!  They combine classes at this stage; so Class of 38-45 or something like that I guess.  When I asked how it was he said "There were lots of old people there."
He had told me beforehand that there was this one girl he used to date back then who would compliment his teeth all the time.  He said if she comes and compliments them hes going to take them out and show her.
  (And I think he might...

My parents like to go to their reunions, but for them, they have a big week-long "everybody" reunion, with separate classes having separate parties on various days (they grew up in the Panama Canal Zone). I think this year is my mom's 40th and my dad's 45th. Have fun!

I spent all morning at the beauty shop. Now I have a new haircut and style, light pink fingernails and darker pink nails. The pinks goes lovely with my grey hair.:lol3:

Have fun Memories to hold on too. I never graduated and I know it would have been fun to see everyone again after all this time.

Not I have to decide the big thing, what to wear. It is a casual affair. I am deciding between a simple dress with my black patent sandals or a purple pants outfit. Decision, decisions.:sigh:

How did it go?
We really had a great time. Hubby went to the same high school, so he enjoyed it as much as I did. My best high school buddy, Susie, was there and we hugged and hugged forever. A really funny thing is we both were carrying a purple handbag, so we are still so compatible.:lol3: The food was good. We were given name tags and that is good because there were some I had to read their name to remember them. Some had changed very little though. It was a great night.
