Midnight had her kittens.. :) So far there are 4 of them. Neighbor stopped by and checked her belly and said it felt like there was 1 more inside of her, I thought so too. Just have to wait it out for a bit and see. I am so proud of her, she did a wonderful job with them. They are all resting now. The kittens are sooo adorable. There are three black with white feet and white on their faces and one is pure black. :)

I have noticed she is still bleeding from her who ha's area and the neighbor said that could be another sign that there is another one, it is farther up in her stomach yet. So I feel like we are having a waiting game here.

I feel so bad because she was meowing and constantly going to the basement door to me and back again, but I couldn't stay with her due to I had a doctor's appointment. But I had my daughter keep an eye out for me. She had 2 of the kittens before I got home. Then the other two after I got home, I laid on my bed and read while she had them, I didn't want to disturb her, but I also wanted her to know I was there in the same room with her.

She has come out to eat a bit and she did let me weigh them and move them to a clean blanket since the one she was on was wet and I didn't want her and the kittens laying in it.

Here is the proud mommy with her kittens

Here they are without mommy, she went out to have a bite to eat quick.

Hello everyone. I posted a thread yesterday about Midnight having her kittens. She did have 4 and she is doing well.

My question now is, today she keeps coming out of her nesting and coming to me and meowing, I have checked to make sure everything is fine with the kittens. She is all over me and purring and all. When I go to her nesting and sit next to it, she will go in and lay with her babies and go to sleep, but as soon as I leave her to rest she is back by me. She does stay for the kittens to nurse, but once they sleep she is looking for me.

Also I have heard of people saying things about double pregnancies. Is it possible and how can you tell? Friend of mine was here yesterday and felt Midnight's belly after she had the 4 she said she feels one farther up in her belly, but now when I feel around I don't really feel anything.

Oh and as for her food, she is eating more wet food then dry, is that ok? She ate a half a can (5.5 oz) of Fancy Feast this morning so far, the dry food she is on is the Kitten chow.

Thank you so much for all the advice you have given me so far, will be back on later.

You can perhaps have a matterass near her nest to rest and sleep on, if she is so demanding your presence and seeing you as Mommy?

Double litters as you mention are not common, but not unique either...  We shall see.

Yes, wet food is fine, let her have as much she wants.  Better to have wet food as base, then dry, wet having typically more nourishment, more of animal proteins and fats than dry.

Good luck!

Did she have any more kittens? Is she still bleeding? Does it seem like there is another one in there?

Midnight only had the 4. She did bleed a little bit afterwords, but I don't see anymore. She had diarrhea for a day after too, that had me concerned, but haven't seen much since. She is feeding them and being an awesome mommy to them.

They are weighing between 5 and a half and 6 and a half ounces as of this morning. Adorable little ones. I noticed the one has it's eyes just about open, I didn't think that happened so soon.

As they get bigger I will be sending in more pictures.

I do plan on having them all spayed/neutered before they are fostered out. They will also have their shots.

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been on lately. Health has kept me away, plus kittens LOL.

I just wanted to stop by and say Midnights kittens are all doing fine. My husband and I are keeping 3 of them and my daughter is taking one. We will have them all neutered/spayed as time comes to do so. Don't need no more kittens here of our own. This make it a total of 7 cats now, 3 adults and 4 kittens.

The father of the kittens has been neutered. Had him done last week. Now the kittens are upstairs. Didn't want to bring them up before because Gizmo (male) was marking the whole house up with his pee, so we shampooed last weekend. Thankfully it is done, I was ashamed when our friends came by and our house smelled like pee.  Funny thing is now when I go into the bathroom he comes in and either gets a drink in the sink, or pees in it. He didn't do this before he was fixed. Now he has done it about 3 times that I know of.

Below are pictures of the little ones. They all have their names under them too.

This is Pikachu

Here is Shadow... Love how she has her feet crossed.

This little sassy one is Jynx, he likes to growl and meow when you get near the food dish when he is eating.

This pretty little one is Zeus. This is the one my daughter wants.

Here is mom and dad with 3 out of 4 of the kittens

This is daddy, his name is Gizmo.

And here is daddy meeting the kittens for the first time. He was really good with them too, I was surprised. Mommy cat was watching him like a hawk too.

Well anyway there is the happy family. Hope you like.

Three tuxedos and a black one. What a cute bunch. Get some enzyme cleaner like Nature's Miracle or NokOut and use that on the sink and anywhere he sprayed. That is the only thing that will completely remove the odor, even if you can't smell it, he can.

You are going to have a houseful of fun, sounds like.
