Hi everyone, had a busy morning so a bit of a late start today.

Is there a person at your work that makes your job more difficult than it needs to be?

Seems like there is always one pain of a person at work no matter what job I'm doing. Today is the last day I have to work with a particular guy WOO HOO! He's disorganized, lazy, and not a very nice person. He's always trying to push his work off on me and I seriously have more than enough on my plate. The new person is taking over his job starting tomorrow - hopefully she will be lots better to work with!

yes.. well, it's more like two people. But one will NOT shut up. She'd sing, she'd talk to herself, she'd yell at Photoshop.. She'd blast her radio (a talk show, not even music).. and when I ask her to quiet down, she gets all angry with me and refuses to speak.. then she gets spiteful and comment on every noise I make (IE: A cough.)

My last 2 employers have been such small businesses that I really didn't have co-workers who could do that.  At one point I didn't even have a co-worker besides the doctor!  My job before that had 6 of us in one office and most of the time we all got along great and had a great time together.  Lunch time was a riot most day. I miss that!!  If all jobs were like that I'd probably have enjoyed working more.

At this very moment my son is throwing toys from his playpen while I finish my lunch.  So yes I guess I do have one of those coworkers.  But I guess it's really more like a client?

I am blessed with my co-workers.....they're all a really nice bunch of people to work with and to hang out with.

I'm the singer, much to my co-workers chagrin. I'll let loose with "O Sole Mio" or "Deck the Halls" even when it's not Christmas. Thankfully, they put up with me. I think it's because I bring in baked treats from time to time, so they put up with my little idiosyncrasies.

Seriously, they're all sweethearts.....even the boss.

One of my communication clerks.   When she calls me about something, she starts in the middle! It's like she has this whole conversation in her head, and then when she starts to talk to me she starts 1/2 way through her story and I have no clue what she is talking about!  And she is so very disorganized.  I'm someone what needs to have organization when I work; largely because of my dyslexia. If things are in chaos, I can't function and feel overwhelmed and very unproductive.  Working with someone so highly unorganized is a real challenge for me.

Oh, gosh. My old boss was younger than me with much less experience. It was soooo hard to bite my tongue when he made mistakes, which was often. Honestly, I think he was in over his head by being promoted to general manager way before he was ready for the position (which happened a few weeks before I arrived). We also had a personality conflict, so I avoided him as much as I could. Doesn't make for a great work day. Fortunately, we only worked the same shifts once or twice a week. For the last couple of months before I left, he behaved just short of hostile towards me. My husband swore that it was because he felt threatened by me.....I don't know about that, I just know there is no way he could have had a problem with my attitude, work performance or record. I found his conduct to be very unprofessional and immature. On occasion, heard him gossip about/ bad mouth other employees when they were not around so I can only imagine what he said about me. Yuck. I was so happy when I left that job, I actually cried!

There are one or two who really don't have what it takes to teach, and some of the students complain about them. For the most part everybody gets along very well, so I can't gripe.
