My cat, Snow Balls, and I grew up in rural Canada and have just moved to the big city so I could go to university.
Sometimes I feel bad because he probably misses climbing trees and chasing little critters outdoors, but he seems to like the apartment life okay. He perches on top of the fridge quite often, and has lots of places to nap. I got him some jingle ball toys that he adores, and he gets exciting watching the pigeons through the window.
Here he is hanging out in a box-bed I made for him!
