Try and contact your local Cats Protection.

http://www.cats.org.uk/

Their a no kill organisation. They visit peoples homes who want to adopt and make sure the kittens are all up to date with their injections, spay/neuter etc... before going to a new home, because you really should know who your adopting to?

Such an adopter perhaps wants the kitten to be food to his dogs.

Let the adopter pay some money to a charity they adopter chooses himself.  But anonymously, in the cats name!   Say, 10 £.  This way, you are sure he is OK.

Yes please do not advertise free kittens. If you cannot find a rescue to take them in, please charge a fee for them to help ensure they are going to someone is  prepared to handle them. Eight weeks is too young for them to be away from their mother, please try to wait another month if you can.

Yes, best to always ask a fee for a kitten. Many "bad" people will take free kittens, pretend to be a loving home, when in reality they are evil. If one cannot afford to pay for your kitten, then they are not a good home in the first place. Best of luck for loving, safe homes for your two kittens.
