I have a one year old, neutrered male kitten named Mowgli.  He's normally super active and playful and was totally fine up until this morning.  He normally is the first face I see in bed and he follows me and sits in the shower with me in the mornings wanting to play but this morning he stayed crouched on a stool in the corner all morning and didn't even move when I shook the treat jar or filled his food dish up.  My other cat, a 3 year old, is acting just fine, maybe a bit more crazy than normal.  Since I've been home from work, I've noticed Mowgli move around a bit more and even eat a few bites of dry food but he's just really lethargic and he acts like he can't keep his eyelids open.  I've even noticed him shivering a little bit.  I don't think he got into anything over night.  He did cut the pad on one of his toes last Thursday pretty bad, but it looks to be healing up and it never seemed to bother him at all.

I'm heading up North Wednesday morning for my wedding this weekend and taking the two cats with me but if he's sick, I don't wanna drag the poor little guy around.  :(  Help please!

Inappetance and lethargy and shivering are all signs that he is sick. A vet visit is in order.

I've given him some wet food since I hadn't seen him drink anything all day and he actually pepped up a little bit.  He's not shivering anymore and he seemed more alert.  I will definitly be calling the vet tomorrow though.

Shivering is sometimes a sign of toxicity, not all the time, but sometimes.  Keep a close eye on him and make sure he's using the litter box.  He could have a blockage.  If you don't see him use the box or if he continues hiding, being lethargic, I'd get to the ER vet immediately.
