Hello everyone,

I am the Kitty Mommy of 4 wonderful cats. My journey began in August 2010 when my daughter's husband found kitten on a construction site.  They found momma too. Unfortunately momma didn't make it. The kittens were hidden in a hay bale that was to be use for landscaping. I got the three kittens when they were 10 days old. I fed them every two hours by bottle. Eventually they learned to eat from bowl, but never learned to drink from bowls. I have to fill the bathtub up for drinking water. Well, come to find out the 3 kittens are a big part Maine Coon, which explains their love for water. My daughter took one of the boys and I kept the other 2 (Daxter and Crispin) which were also boys.  when they were old enough I had them neutered. They are my joy.

In May 2011, Baby came to me. I was yard saleing and arrived at this yard sale where they were trying to sell him for $20.  I told them I would take him and I would take care of him. I got him for free. He was only the size of my other 2 boys when I got them so I figured he was about 10 days to 2 weeks old.  Boy was I off. He was a little underfed, and was 4 or 5 weeks old. Once he started eating regularly he bounced up in weight and size and looked like a normal cat, and when he was old enough he was neutered too.

In August 2012, I got my first 2 girls, Latte and Gigi. They were two weeks old and had problems with their eyes. I took them to the vet and got medicine for their eyes and found out they were girls. I still don't know how to tell. My daughter again took one, Gigi. I have Latte.  In April she was spayed. She is my youngest but rules the nest. The reason I found Latte was because I had been feeding her mother (Momma). I couldn't catch her and tried to trap her, but she always escaped. So I feed her everyday now for over a year. She knows what time to be there. We have a covered area and even have a blanket in the container, but she doesn't stay longer than to eat. Never has. But she is my outdoor cat.

Latte is also a clutz.  For example I threw a cat toy over a railing and into my basement.  The boys just watched as Latte ran through the banisters to get the toy dropping down a flight of stairs.  She was fine and she got the toy.  In her eyes she won.  But she is forever falling or jumping and giving me gray hair.

All my little ones have personalities and each is loved in their own special way. Latte is my son's cat.  All the Daxter preferred my son, Crispin and Baby were loners, so I figured Latte was mine, but nope she found my son. If you search for her you will most likely be in his room. Originally I was just going to foster them, but I just couldn't let go. This time once Latte and Gigi out grew the bottles, I kept them. Every time before I threw them away I got another cat.  I think 4 is my limit for indoor cats.  Momma is my only outdoor cat, but that is my feline family. They are great.
