Hi, just thought i'd introduce myself. I live in Ontario, Canada, and im 23 years old. I have had pets all my life, including a cat. About three years ago i moved away from home with my boyfriend. Recently we found a stray cat, or rather she found us. One night i get a knock on my door from my neighbor telling me she has something to show me, i go outside to see a cat lying down on my boyfriends lap. Aparently she just wouldn't leave him alone. I went into my house for a sweater and was followed by this kitty, and well that was that.
We have had her a week now, shes just under a year. Got her checked out by the vet, all her shots, and some medication for the fleas she had, which turned out to be more of a very bad allergic reaction to the fleas than her having alot of fleas.
She is doing very well, and has adjusted to life as an indoor cat very well. She loves to cuddle, her favourite place to sleep happens to be our coffee table, she also loves to play "soccer" with my boyfriend.
I must say i have never fallen in love with an animal so quickly. Somehow i think we need her just as much as she needs us
