I don't know yet for sure all i did is i saw her go to the litter box 3 times look like straining, but i thought giving wetfood prevents it i give her grain free food and she eats alot of wet. and seems all the vet near by is booked and i don't drive have no body to take me sadly so i don't know what to do. Am i just overworrying ? she often licks her area or either giving herself a bath. what could have caused it? I clean her littler box throughly as well. she doesn't seem stress. she doesn't drink water but giving her wet food has moisture.

An all or mostly wet diet will definitely reduce the risk of a UTI but will not serve as a definite guarantee of a kitty not getting one.  While I feed mostly wet and the rest raw I have to say I think some of the websites/people out there sort of exaggerate their claims when they say things like feeding an all wet diet or raw will prevent all urinary/kidney/bladder problems.  They can definitely reduce the risk, by a lot, and will help you to have an overall healthier kitty in many ways, but are not going to absolutely protect your kitty from all problems. So I'd say it can definitely be a potential UTI or other serious bladder problem.

I personally do not think you are overreacting.  If she is straining each time she uses the litterbox, she should see a vet, and ideally sooner rather than later.

I wish that the vets would see me though they say take her to emergancy vet but that is miles away i live in a small town :\ no buses runs there i don't know what to do? are there something can help her that may dissolve crystals if she has them? the first time she was diagnosed there was no crystals but they gave her clavamox but sadly i can't get it not unless she is looked at but most are booked i only have 3 vets in this small town. I'm guessing they are booked cause of that holiday i'm hearing about. and they won't be open til tuesday

Does she seem able to pee or might there be a urinary blockage of some kind? If there is a blockage or might be, it is a true emergency and cannot wait period.  She should be taken to a vet immediately, or as soon as you can get a ride.  Call a cab if necessary.

If there is not blockage I'd keep close tabs on her till tomorrow morning and if she's still straining I'd take her to the emergency vet too.  In my opinion Tuesday is too long to wait in either case.

I would not wait too long to get her into a vet. If she's still urinating then book the appointment for the next available. How long did the vets office say you would have to wait? If she doesn't become blocked its not an omg 24 hour vet hospital emergency. Is she does block which is rare in females, it is emergency.
Most likely you cat does not have a bacterial infection it is probably an inflamed bladder and there are several causes of that.
My cat recently had the same signs but had bladder stones andneeded surgery. The only way you can know for sure is to take her in.
Hopefully you can get a ride and an appointment lined up soon

If she has oxalate crystals the hills s/d could make it worse. That food really should only be given under the care of a vet.

I can tell you really care about your kitty and I feel bad because I know I'm not telling you what you want to hear, but without a vet officially diagnosing her there is really no way to know if she will be okay or not.  If she is still peeing, like I said above, I wouldn't call it a drop everything and hitchhike now emergency but bladder problems no matter the diagnosis tend to be painful and serious.  I would not feel comfortable, myself, waiting till Tuesday, but you can only do what you are able to do.  I'm gonna step back and see if anyone with more experience with their own cats UTI's has anything else to pitch in.   I am sending good thoughts to you and your kitty and I hope she feels better soon.

I know you are trying to do the best thing for your kitty. Just please monitor her closely like you are now and if she is unable to urinate then you need to really get someone to take you into the clinic 45 minutes away.

I see you are already feeding her wet food, continue this and try adding some water to increase her water intake at least until you can get her to the vet. You still need to get in sooner rather than later. It is very important that she is able to urinate some though.

i am hoping she will be ok i actually finally got a ride but it has to be tommarow :\ i was even approved of carecredit, how does carecredit work i ahve the account number but how do the vets get it they said they can get it through my cell i'm thankful that i got it casue i'm almost brokeeeee since i had to take one cat for a digestive issues  thought it was ibd but the vet just guessed it so got an xray and she had tons of gas but she is looking bright. for future refrence once i get this fix for the 2nd time for my candie girl how do i prevent utis since the wet food didn't help i mostly give her felidae, evo, blue buffalo, nature variety (sometimes)

and btw seems her condition isn't worst then the first time she actually pees but i'm sure it stings a bit but she doesn't lick alot or go to the bathroom every 10 minutes she is actually looking ok but i know its better safe then sorry

Glad you could find someone to take you.

I just used Care Credit but they did the application right at the vet's office. I am sure that if the vet you are going to accepts care credit they will know what to do with the account number. Just make sure to have some I.D. or something just in case they ask, doubt it though. My application was approved with 0% interest for six months but I don't know if that varies or not.

They will probably charge you for the exam and then a urinalysis first.

In my case they could not collect a big enough sample to test because Calvin's bladder was relatively empty so we then went onto an x-ray and then an ultrasound. I have been going to my vet for a long time and he only charged me for the x-ray, I think, which ever test was cheaper. My bill for diagnosis was only $115 (may vary). Based on the results, lots of visible stones, he recommended surgery without wasting time trying to see if the stones would dissolve because my cat is a male. He felt the risk of blockage was too high to wait so we proceeded immediately, that was when I needed the care credit. Oh well it is all taken care of now and he is on the mend. I do not yet know if his stones were struvite or oxalate as they were sent for testing and the results haven't come back.

The best of luck to you and your little girl tomorrow. I'm sure with a female you will probably have an easier time :)  ETA: Calvin did have blood in his urine though which you haven't mentioned so that is likely a plus for your girl.

I am wondering if this is a good sign she has peed 4-5 times no blood so far i'm keeping an eye on her i'm hoping its like the first time no stones they called it bladder infection so i am hoping its just a minor bladder infection. but is this a good sign she still strains sometimes but her pee is not bloody and she doesn't go back and forth alot or havn't been licking at her area maybe twice but thats all. i'm adding more water in her wet food so maybe its helping a tiny bit.

and one thing i'm worried about if she does have slight stones that can be dissolve i'm afraid they will put her on that diet :\ and i hate dry food well i hate their food since she is on a good diet

They do make a canned version of the r/x versions. We will probably have to use one of the maintenance r/x diets so I've researched my options. The lab results haven't come back so my vet hasn't suggested anything yet as far as diet goes. He had his stones removed though so it probably won't be the dissolving temporary diet for struvite stones, since we didn't know what kind they were anyways.

They should be able to tell if they get a good clean urine sample tomorrow from Candie. I don't really know for sure since well my visit went the unplanned route of not being able to analysis his urine. lol

Water is great as since she is not blocked.
