Need Help

I just got a kitten 2 days ago and he is about 6 weeks old. When getting here he didnt go potty for about 36 Hours. This morning waking up he went p on my bed which was a very strong smell. Then half hour ago he pooped and cryed while doing it on the floor. How do i get this baby litter trained and should i be worried that something is wrong?

He is very young to be away from his mother, usually they learn by observing what mama does. At first, you will want to put the litter box out where he can find it quickly. 

Get a very shallow 1" or so box or tray, put a layer of litter in it -do not use clumping litter- and when you see his start looking for a place to potty, put him in there.  You will want to leave a little of his waste in the box or use Kitten Attract litter. After a fairly short while, he will get the idea that the place to potty is in the box.
