Chiba is expecting

The reasson I searched out this site is because my Chiba is expecting. I don't know for sure how far along she is because she got out twice in a 2 week period. 5-7 weeks. She's a very vocal and affectionate kitten anyway and I've raised her from a 3wk old kitten she is always in the same room as I am until she knows I'm settled in. Her personality hasn't changed but I've made her a box and she carries my one slipper around sometimes bringing it back to the box. She runs around like a crazy lady then plops down next to me and sleeps 3 hours. I love this kitty and I figured I could find the best help through the experience of others. So...I hope for some advice as this goes along.

I came home last night to find her like this...hanging off the side of the bed...which cracked me up so I had to share

She is getting close. She has to be within a week of giving birth. But I haven't seen her nesting. Not at all. She's till super active and is jumpin around sometimes all crazy. Doesn't seem normal. >.> lol

I'm starting to get a bit nervous. What if I'm not home and she needs help while delivering? Lol grandma to be is worried. Also she was laying on my tummy today and I could feel the kittens moving around against my stomach. Which was a little odd.

Ok...so....I think maybe she just lost her mucus plug in the litter box. She is walking around the house meowing and I can't figure out why she's doing it. She has a box ready and she's been in and out of it a lot so is she getting close? She's got an odd tone to her meows too...makes me feel sad for her.

That is normal she just want your attention pet her on the head for a while she will be ok.

Ok so, it's been a long and very weird road in mine and Chibas life. She had a false pregnancy. It seems like she was perpetually acting pregnant. I then had a family tragedy and left her with a cousin.
She got pregnant for real. When I picked her up there was no doubt. (Needless to say she has a vet appointment 2 days after these kittens are 6 weeks)
Anyway after everything, meet Chibas kittens:
Chaos
Butters
Ziggy
And Oscar
They are all going to loving homes next week and mommy is gettin spayed.

Hi the kittens are gorgeous!  Are they only six weeks old?  Try and keep them with mum until they are at least 10 weeks old 

They are 6 weeks on the 2nd. Butters will be leavin next week, and Oscar will be leaving 3 weeks from now. The other two are staying.

Hi. Just been reading ur thread on ur cat giving birth and well done to her. They georgous especially ziggy. I have a bi colour bsh who is pregnant and starting to be restless. I was sure she had another 7-10 days but u never know

Wow! Both pretty. I'm surprised that Chibas kittens are so different. Can cats mate with multiple dads like dogs?
