please help

My cat was hit by a car he lost his teeth and front claws the vet also said he had a lump on his side they gave him pain med but I have noticed on his side when I clap him there is a strange crackling sound like someone scrounching up a packet of crisps I am very woried I have 4 dogs and 1 cat he is my baby if anyone knows anything let me know I plan to take him to the vet on Friday as its a private one

Did the vet do a full exam when you brought the cat in? Getting hit by a car and loosing all his teeth and front claws is a little odd - I would feel like more would need to be done then just pain meds. How old is the cat?

I think taking him to the vet again is a good idea, and really push for the vet too look him over. It's still really confusing that he would loose teeth and claws and only get pain meds.
