High School Activites

When you were in high school did you join the choir, ROTC, band ,drama,cheerleading ? What did you like / dislike about you activity . The only thing I like was going too sewing class. i made a shirt that didn't turn out too bad.

I did the chorus for 3 years, Latin club for 4.  I was an attendance office aid my Senior year.  I was in the FFA for 2 years; but not very active.  I also attended a monthly Bible study at school.  

Definitely no cheerleading for me.  But last year I attended a baby shower for a girl I've known since middle school.  Most of the women that came had been to school with us during high school and somewhere in the middle of things I realized I was surrounded by a bunch of former cheerleaders!  Me; the Latin club President!   

I didn't have time for after school activities. My time outside of school was spent looking after my ill Mom. And after she died, it was spent working to support myself.

What I did participate in were the following:

Table Tennis

Reach for the Top (a type of trivia game that was televised)

Mock Parliment

I was an overachiever in high school.
