cat's fever for days

my kitten have a fever about 104degree, on friday i visit a vet he injected her antibiotic and it's been 4days she still feel warm 103-104 degree.

i went to another vet because the first one seem to be not care about my cat (he check up my kitten only in 5minutes), and the second one she used amoxicillyn , and my kitten allergy (we never knew it before) her face became puffy it's been 6hours her face still swell. she wanted to injected her with anti allergic medicine. i forbid her because my kitten is just 3months, i hate doctor injected her times ,cos i'm afraid of side effects. they said if my kitten got bacteria the antibiotic will help her, but if she got viruses (they can't help)

my question is "Is the amoxicillyn worked?if my cat allergic to it?" or it became nothing when allergic because body refuse it?

my kitten appetite is good, but she sleep a lot and lethargic.

i rather ask people who love pet than doctors in my place. they just do anything in the book, and never feel like us as a cat lover.

Do you know the name of the first antibiotic that she was injected with?

I'm sorry your cat had a reaction to the amoxicillin. I think that in general the antibiotics still work even with a reaction.

It's good that your cat still has a good appetite. Did either vet say what they think is causing the fever? Does she still have the fever? I am concerned that even after 2 vet visits and 2 antibiotics that she still has a fever.

Am I understanding you correctly that you did not allow them to give an injection to stop the allergic reaction from the amoxicillin? Was she given anything orally to stop the allergic reaction?

she still have fever but already went down, may be have to wait 2-3days. they just said maybe bacteria or viruses, they gave her antibiotic.

yes, i didn't allowed the vet injected her with other medicine or orally medicine. cos i'd already asked the vet puffing face is common? she said yes and it didn't harm at all if her(my kitten)breathing was fine. so i refused her to injected others medicine.
