Kittens had Pyrantel and found live worms 1 week later

Vet gave us Pacanur ( not pyrantel I confused them)  for the kittens and they finished their first 3 days of treatment a week ago. We are supposed to repeat it in two weeks ( so in another week). But I found live tapeworm on one of the kittens today. I'm not sure if I should wait the week, or redose them now? They are right about 2 pounds. 

Maybe the 2 week between doses is important? I don't want to over dose them, and I figured the 2 weeks was to get newly hatched worms? 

It's actually 2 weeks on Thursday, just double checked my notes. 

Pyrantel doesn't kill tapeworms. . .are you sure about what kind of worm it was? If it was a tapeworm you'll have to get some Drontal. Not sure about how old they have to be for Drontal.

Oh wait, it's panacur not pyrantel. I got them mixed up. It's late and I didn't check the bottle before posting. It's the oral stuff, the white liquid.

Hmm, Panacur does kill some kinds of tapeworms but not all. Might need some praziquantel.

I'm not sure if I should wait the week, or redose them now?
