I have a 12 year old indoor/outdoor cat. But because she is older she mostly sleeps in the same spot all day and really doesnt go outside.

Hear ears seem to be having major problems, I posted a picture, idk if these are ear mites? Or what I can do to help her.

We live overseas and there are no vets in the area, so if there is any home remedy I can make at home please let me know.

Along with that her back legs are growing bald, it started out just at the bottom of her foot, but now its working its way up the first of her hind leg.

Also she has a spot on her stomache that is also bald. She licks it a lot, there is a slight (yelloish green hue, in the picture that is from some oitment I put on it).

Idk if this is related, but years ago when we were on a trip and somehow the tip of her tail fell off, we came back and there was blood on her bed etc, it was rather alarming, thankfually it healed up..(that was about 8 years ago). Until recently she started attacking it again and she chewed another part of it off.. Idk if thats connected at all or not.

Also I forgot to add She seems to be constantly licking the spot on her stomache.

I hear some of this could be caused be a flea allergy, some of our other cats do bring fleas into the house. I do give her a bathes, but perhaps not often enough.

As far as fleas go, there are many, many threads on this website that discuss them.  Here is just one:

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/253188/fleas

As to ear mites, here is another one of many, many thread on that:

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/240167/ear-mites-or-wax

Unfortunately, No online advice can replace direct veterinary intervention. If you suspect that your cat may be ill, please try to locate a vet.  I know you said there are none, but surely there is one somewhere.  The advice given here cannot take into account your cat’s previous history, and nobody here can give your cat a physical exam to check for any abnormalities.

I can't tell what the first picture even is, but the picture of her tummy looks like there is a long scratch or scar there that might be bothering her.  What is that?  Also, physically chewing the end of her tail off sounds like a very serious problem to me
.   I would really, really, really try to find a Vet somewhere to check her out.

Thankyou for your help, so you think she has ear mites?

The first picture is a picture of her back foot, showing some of the balding that is happening.

The vet we took her to said he didnt know why she did that with her tail, and he gave me cream to put on it, so im unsure what caused her to do that. The vet had no idea either...

Did you read that thread about them and click on all the links?  That might give you a better idea if it's ear mites or not.  Does she act the way it describes cats with ear mites acting?

There is no way we can diagnose on-line, sorry.

It certainly looks like ear mites to me after viewing your photo. The other areas of irritation and hair loss could be from flea allergy dermatitis or a food related allergen. You say you don't have access to a vet overseas? A vet could easily diagnose ear mites. I would see about getting Revolution. I think you need a vet's prescription to get it though. It will get rid of the ear mites, kill the fleas and also deworm your cat. You would need three treatments all three weeks apart. I would also think about going over the diet that your cat is on. But first, the mites/fleas needs addressing right away. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
