15 yr Los cat on proin for incontinence

Recently my elderly cat has been put on Proin for incon. I've tried all herbal drops in her food/water and nothing seems to work for more than a couple of days. I've had her since she was 2. Weeks old. We have 3 other cats but she is secluded to one room with my parakeets and she seems perfectly content to be in ther. Of course I visit with her a lot. She does get out onto our third floor porch regularity to get fresh air. I've read a lot about proin for dogs and that it causes seizures. Heart attacks and then death in that order. This proin is pretty much her last resort before being euthanized and I can't in my mind do that to her if there is something else I can do. Can't afford to take her to NC State or even think that would be a good trip for her mentally seeing it is a 2.5 hr trip and she is already scared. Anyone have any thoughts that my help. I feel that she is suffering some and they think its caused from arthritis. She has that in back end for about a yr now and anti inflammatory meds only help a little bit. Ur thought would be greatly appreciated.

Have you taken her to the vet's? If not, I'd strongly suggest taking her in quickly as you can!
