Hi everyone. This is new to me (message boards and pregnant cats) so please bear with me if I'm asking any obvious questions.
I'm trying to get a sense of weather or not my girl Dolly Parton is about to give birth or not. I'm not entirely sure of how far along she is but my best guess is around the 60-65 day range. She's just under 2 and quite small so she only started "showing" a week or so ago. Her tummy dropped quite low in the last couple days. Two nights ago she started having a mild bloody discharge and has become very affectionate. She has been sitting in her "nest" a lot the last couple days as well. There are at least two distinct lumps inside that feel about the size of a small rat...which seem about right to me. Is she close? Any advice would be awesome! Thank you :)

Sounds so. Do you feel the kittens move?  In the last day or so, they are more difficult to feel move, as as a rule of thumb, the last two weeks they are easy to feel.

But some owners dont feel so much at all, true.

Difficult to give advices, ie too lazy to write a handbook anew every time... It is easier to answer specific questions, or react in emergency situations.

So I do it easy for me, and say, we do have articles here on our forum, about birth, caring of kittens etc.

You can also look on youtube for films of delivery.

Try to look through the other threads too...

Keep reporting and asking!

Good luck!
