Hi everyone -
I'm new to the site and really excited to be a member of this community! I'm the proud parent to my two furry kids, Artemis and Monstro.
This is Artemis:
Artemis came to live with me three years ago when she was just a kitten and she's been a wreaking havoc in my house ever since. She's a little cranky sometimes but she eventually warms up to people. She's 5 pounds of pure terror and can usually be found perched on top of her six foot tall kitty condo or ripping apart catnip mice. She's my little munchkin and her tiny stature is even more laughable when you meet my other cat.
This is Monstro:
Monstro is a 25 pound marshmallow who found me three weeks ago at our local animal shelter. He instantly grabbed my heart and I knew right away that he needed to come home with me. He was abandoned by his original owner in a filthy, hoarder apartment so he came with some health issues. He had an upper respiratory infection and an eye infection when I adopted him and at his first vet appointment I was told that his URI and eye infection were both caused by feline herpesvirus. Since coming home with me, his upper respiratory infection has cleared up and he's been to an ophthalmologist for the herpes outbreak affecting his eyes and that's clearing up as well. He has zero concept of how big he is and tries to be a lap cat ... even though he's the size of a small dog. Monstro is a love bug and is also officially on a kitty diet to shed a few pounds.
So, that's my little furry family. With one slightly grumpy cat and one with health concerns, you'll definitely be hearing a lot from me. Thanks in advance for your patience and help! =)
