One of my kittens has been crying all day.  We have lost two, one had two tongues which he didn't seem to know how to use and the other died at birth.  We weren't home to help mom .  I try to hold him and keep him warm but the mom gets mad and tried to take him from me.  She is already rejecting one kitten so this guy is her favorite.  I can't stand hearing it anymore without knowing how to help.  Any tips?

You hold it warm, but the mom is trying to take him. Is SHE holding him warm?  If so, it should be enough (if it isnt very cold at your place).  Is she nursing him?

If he gets enough the only way to know is to weigh them every day...

If you suspect he dont gets enough you can try and give him extra, so mom sees, and after it lay him back to mom.   If he begins to be weak and dont manage bottle, a dropper is easier for them weak.

Goat milk or kmr. Him lying on tummy head up, like nursing with mom.

If he gets weak, boost up his energy with wet sugar on his gum. Best is dextrose/glucose sugar, but honey or white caro syrup works too.

What happened with the rejected?  Is it this two tounged?

If it is still alive and you want try to save it, you must actively do handraise it.

Keep reporting and asking!

Good luck!
