My cat had surgery last Friday for a broken claw in his back paw as well as removal of a small bump on his neck as a precaution, he has an appointment this coming Friday to change the dressing on his paw. After four days of taking his medication (antibiotics) very easily he suddenly refused, since he has a good appetite and have had luck with this method before I was giving him his 1.5ml of liquid amoxicillin with a couple teaspoons of canned food gravy and he was even begging for more wet food. This morning I ran out of fish flavored wet food and used chicken, big mistake because he must of smelled the medication and refused to eat even when I offered his favorite dry kibble. I figured he would be ok missing once dose since he did have a antibiotic injection at the vets and I picked up more fishy wet food for the next dose assuming he would go back to eating it greedily. A couple of hours ago after a few tastes of med tainted wet food he again refused it, I know he did not get the full dose and it is too late to call the vets office but I will tomorrow. For now I'm now worried he could be at risk for infection for missing two doses and would like to force a dose with a small syringe but could restraining him further hurt the sutures on his neck or the bandaged up back paw? I'm scared to hurt him in a struggle.

Thanks in advance, I'm new and already a pain with a ton of questions :)

This is what his sore spots look like

I would just contact your vet tomorrow and ask them. Some cats are real funny about taking medication. They can smell medicine a mile away. There is a treat you can buy that you an fit pills inside and it is soft. Forgot the name of it. We used on a feral cat we caught 2 years ago when she had hookworm.   I have had experience with that many times. We currently have 5 indoor felines and have had kitties since 1986. Just keep an eye on your little guy.
