bloody nipple!

so our momma cat has a swollen nipple and we have been putting hot washcloths on it, and it has been doing good but this morning we checked on her and it was bloody. we gave her a penicillin shot yesterday so we aren't sure what's going on HELP!!!

The best and safest is not to guess, but to visit a vet with her....

I agree. Your cat needs a vet.

well we took her to the vet awhile ago and she gave her an antibiotic and I forgot to say the "bloody nipple" kinda exploded and she had this huge gaping hole in her belly and that's when we took her to the vet the vet said it would be fine so it's been like a week or so and it's healing up just wonderful and I didn't have to bottle feed the kittens either! yay!

You did had a real Passover. The Angel of Death come to your place, knocked, hesitated a little, but decided to proceed to elsewhere...Or perhaps go away and take a short break.

well she seems fine today. she attacked my shoe lace and started acting  like a kitten, so I think she will be just fine
