Hiya I'm new to this and have seen a few posts about pregnant cats. My cat is around 60-62 days pregnant and int really showing any signs of having them yet :-/ I'm already worried as she's still a kitten herself (she was 1 this month) I can't wait to see what they look like as she mated with my boy cat who's a ginger and white cat with tabby markings. She is a black and sort of grey tabby cat (think its known at tortus??!!) any help would be greatful!xxx

If you're worried about anything health related, your vet is the best person to call. A lot of people here have a lot of experience with birthing and raising kittens, but none of us can see your kitty or help with anything that needs hands-on treatment :).

It can take a few days for the eggs to implant, so the mating date may not be the date she got pregnant. And if they mated multiple times, it may have been one of the later matings that took. So don't worry about the dates just yet, I don't think they're considered overdue until 70 days anyway. Of course, if she ever seems distressed, get her to the vet immediately. But as long as she's doing OK, the kittens will come when they come. Can't rush babies! :D

I hope the male is neutered now as she can get pregnant again right after giving birth. If he's not done yet, you'll have to keep them separated until after she's spayed (males remain fertile for a while after neutering so even if you do it now you'll still have to separate them). Besides the overpopulation concerns, it's not healthy for her to get pregnant again right away like that.

If he's ginger and she's a brown/gray tabby, her female kittens will be tortoiseshells/calicos and the males will be solid black/gray or brown/gray tabby. If she's a tortoiseshell (some ginger and some black), girls can be tortie or ginger, boys can be ginger or solid black/gray or brown/gray tabby. But the girls will definitely have some ginger on them because they get one color gene from their dad and one from their mom. Boys only get the color gene from their mom.
