Sick 10 months old female cat

Hi, our 10 months old female cat has not been eating well for few days, yesterday not at all, sleeps all day long, which is so NOT like her and walks really slowly like she were in pain. Please, let me know what you think!! She acted like that last week for couple of days, then she got better, was fine and this week it started again.. She is spayed.

She could have anything from constipation to a virus to have had a stroke.  Also, she needs to eat, and eat NOW; otherwise, she may develop fatty liver disease, which can be fatal.

She needs to be seen by a vet asap; we aren't vets and can't give vet advice.  Cats hide pain extraordinarily well; the fact that she isn't hiding pain means she must be really hurting.

You've got to tempt her with anything she'll eat, if cats don't eat, very quickly they develop liver problems, with not drinking, kidney failure. The only way to know is to bring her to a vet, you might call first and see if they can give you some suggestions on what it could be. My cats act sick when they have bad hair balls, you may want to ask your vet if you could give her some OTC hairball medicine. Did you notice last week is anything made her feel better? Good Luck!
