I have a stray cat that might have an ear infection and/or teeth issue that might result in pulling or just a gum infection. I know I cannot give pills or liquid antibiotic to this cat she won't eat it. While at the vet could they give antibiotic injection instead?

Yes, while at the vets, the vet can give the cat a long-acting antibiotic shot, Convenia.  Last around two weeks.

I can't pill Ritz, so she'd gotten the shot in lieu of pills.

Just be aware that some cats have reactions (lumps and/or itching) at the injection site. Mine never have and I swear by Covenia. It is what Schofield got and it cleared up a nasty absess in no time.

Covenia is what Silly gets when she has to have antibiotics. She is 13 and is FHV positive. She doesn't have any bad reactions to it, but as Ritz and Ondine both say, each cat is different.

You mentioned you can't give liquids to your cat--does that include flavored liquids.

Some medications prescribed for cats can be compounded into flavored liquids--those that can also be used by humans fall into this category.  As I mentioned, I can't pill Ritz.  But she has had no problems when I put flavored (tuna & chicken) medication into her wet food (you could also put it in baby food if you don't feed wet).  That's how I gave her Prozac, Flagyl and Reglan; the latter two are especially bitter but the tuna/chicken flavor really disguises the taste.
