you make it sound like a bad thing Shankar...i really see nothing wrong with the toys, they are just that: TOYS. they can't do magic, they don't do rituals...they aren't making sacrifices to "dark lords."...it's a funny blond doll that mixes up koolaid. no religious doctrines or metaphysical books included.
someone commented that a few bad witches had given witchcraft a bad name, but that's true of all religions and every christian sect. and since it's a free country, if you want your children involved with memorizing bible passages and mindlessly agreeing with whatever your particular church has to say, that is also at your discretion.
to be honest, i have a great amount of respect for anyone that can adhere to any belief system...particularly ones that require blind faith.
but i don't see the point of getting worked up over a toy and believing that it's going to lead all the little kiddies to witch craft and what i feel is being implied as satanism. there have always been witches in "pop" culture, and have yet to see the downfall of society as we know it
