G'morning!
I was approached by a guy at work, "D." who told me about a little kitten who needed a home. His nephew found the kitten outside and brought it in. It's too young to be away from momma; we're now assuming it is abandoned.
D. told me a funny story which gave me some information on its age:
"It's really tiny, but active and likes to play. It kept trying to bite and claw me but it didn't hurt! When my nephew's cat walked in the room it stood on its toes, puffed up and just glared at the older cat."
All funnies aside, I'm assuming that our little kitty is around 4 weeks or so, since its behavior is more cat-like.
I know I'm going to need a few things and will have to take care of certain responsibilities:
-A kitten formula kit and kibble for when it can eat solid food.
-A comfy, clean nest away from the other cats.
-Litter training.
-Lots of playtime and (supervised) social time with the other cats.
-A vet visit to check on health status and vaccinations.
Is there anything I'm missing? Any tips would be appreciated!
