Gideon has checked out the toilet paper and the paper towel holder a couple of times.....so far I have been able to distract him (knock on wood).

He reminds me of Tiny. Unfortunately there's no way to put this in a bad-kitty picture, but Tiny loves to run his claws over things. I don't mean he likes to shred things or make any kind of mark--no; he prefers to run his claws over surfaces that make interesting sounds when he does so. the plastic covers on library books, the faux-wood side of my desk, the metal of the refrigerator, even the linoleum on the bathroom floor--tiny loves to run his claws across them just to listen to the sounds. I swear he is a feline musician. He has never actually made any mark on these surfaces and he does not frequent favorite "spots", as cats do when they they scratch--he just seeks out things that feel and sound interesting.

Marcy is a terrible cat. She was a terrible kitten and now she's a terrible cat.

One night she discovered the bag of mouse bedding (shredded paper). She went wild, digging the stuff out of the bag and then scurrying it all over the floor. I woke up, turned over and saw it, gasped, laughed, took a couple pictures, then went right back to sleep to deal with it later. We were sweeping up bits of paper in the opposite end of the house for forever.

A much older Marcy loves hanging out with the Guinea Pigs. She was infatuated with them as a baby, and still is. In fact, as I type, she's sleeping in a corner of the cage right now.

I tried to find naughty pics of the other cats, but it would seem they're perfect. Or at least they know to do naughty things when I don't have a camera around. Marcy is naughty 24/7, so chances are good I can get proof of at least a few, lol

Oh that's so funny. I love Marcy. How can you say she's naughty? She looks perfectly innocent. I think she was framed!

A frame is possible. None of the other cats are young and energetic enough to get in so much trouble, but that's why it's brilliant. Destroy something, wait for curious Marcy to check out the destruction, then alert the humans to the shameful shenanigans she's gotten into AGAIN. However, Marcy has gotten into the bag of mouse bedding a few more times afterwards, and she's always been aware of where I've put it (trying to keep it away from Marcy's grasp) but she'll give herculean efforts to get at that fun, fluffy bag. It's now hanging on the wall, all alone. So far, so good. But she's probably already crafting a plan on how to get it down to the ground for another round of Snow Day.

He was polydactyl so his paws were HUGE. He was quite a BRUTE too at about 18 pounds, but a total sweetheart. My dad was going for something Scottish sounding so he picked Magnus. He was named Cupcake when they adopted him and Dad said that wasn't "manly enough" for such a big kitty.

My family picks weird pet names. Their other cat is little tabby name Guinevere.

I love that 13 pounds isn't as big as you thought he'd get! Artemis is a whole 5 pounds so 13 pounds seems pretty darn big!
Before we got shadow, I wanted a black female kitty, and I was going to name her Lady Guinevere. That'll be the name for my future Bengal kitty.

Also, I don't have a picture anymore (washed my last phone) but we used to leave the bag of bread loaf on the counter. Until one morning ... we woke up to bread ALLLLLLLLLLLL OVER the apartment.

Shadow had teared open the bag and decided to play with all the bread loafs while we were sleeping.

This is FireFly shamefully showing off what she does to the door when it's closed and she wants to be inside with me:

Here she is, looking a little loopy... I use valerian tea for my insomnia, however, valerian is a stimulant to cats (its like catnip but stronger) That being said, this is her laying among the mess she made after a few sniffs of The V:

Proudly showing off the way she and our chihuahua (Tequila) have redesigned the couch... With their nails:

&&& this is her working on the underside...:

Last but not least, and it might be kinda hard to tell, but here she is scaring Tequila off the couch:

This probably doesn't belong in this thread. It's curious behaviour!!!! I have moved the cat stand to another spot. I thought it was a fun photo to share anyway.
