meeting friends on this site

I was just wondering if anyone really became friends from this site and have visited each other and became friends through the years ?

My family and I met one person from TCS about 5 years ago, when she came to Victoria. We picked her up at her friend's house and parked downtown; she and I went for tea while my husband and daughter took off to run errands. She seemed very nice and we had a pleasant talk, but when we got back on TCS things got weird and I felt she was very unfriendly to me. I was pretty confused for the next few years but she seems to have disappeared for a while now and frankly, I'd forgotten all about her. At any rate, I have no ill will and hope she's doing okay.

I travel a lot and have had the pleasure of meeting quite a few in person - loved every single one of them :heart3:

I'd love to meet Lana (kookycats) in person because I've known her forever and ever. She lives in Florida and I'm in Pennsylvania, so it's going to be awhile. There are a few other people here who I'd dearly love to meet because they seem like such people. Maybe someday!

I've met one person from here. She lives in my city.  However, she doesn't post here anymore.

There are several members that I would love to meet though.
 

I have met 2 members in real life. Neither post here anymore but I keep up with one through facebook.  I also have a few other people I've met here that I talk to a lot on Facebook.  Some of them feel like more "real" friends than people who live near me! 

I've never met anyone from the site, but I definitely consider some friends. :nod:
