So my cat is very fat! You can see the kittens in her tummy. Her nipples are producing milk.
I feel like she should be delivering any day now. But besides what I said, she's not showing any signs of labor. Is this normal? Does she still have a while or what??

If shes producing milk you may only have days if not hrs to go. My kitty showed no signs of labor not even milk when she was ready...all of a sudden she was cryinh a lot her water broke and BAM first kitten...my cat didnt even produce milk until an hr or so after the last kit was born...so keep close watch, have towels, powder free gloves, gauze, birth box, and plenty of disposable stuff for the bottom of her box. I used layer upon layer of puppy pads, works great! Keep us posted...good luck

Yes, many of our forumites are doing this Waiting game, while their hairs get more and more grey.  :)

Use the time to read on and prepare yourself, mentally and with appropriate things.   :)

And watch out. Most often the delivery goes well, but more than one forumite saved the day just by a quick and forcefull action just in time, tx to being there.

Welcome to our Forums!

Good luck!

My cat needed FULL delivery intervention! It would literally be the difference between live and dead kittens, and i still lost one. So if is a first litter and a young cat, dont let her leave your sight. Its the difference between life and death, besides the fact that ita a beautiful thing to be present for...good luck to you and yours, keep us posted
