Hello all! Me and my fiance were feeding cats and kittens outside of our rented office/warehouse space and we decided we would take some of them to our new place since they were gonna do a lot of construction at the area we rented from. We took two kittens and after they were scared by our nephew only one came back. 8 weeks ago she gave birth to three kittens and now we have four to feed. Now I have an issue with the mother cat. She managed to escape the area where we keep her and we hope to get her back in her 'house' so she won't get pregnant again and we will be able to make our spaying appointment next Thursday. It's not so easy since she is a semi feral cat. The kittens are happy we pet them, feed them and play with them. The mom walks away when we try to pet her. If she is distracted eating wet food then she won't mind us petting her and she rubs on her legs but that's as far as she goes. If anyone has advice on catching her please let me know

Hi blueelmo01 and welcome to The Cat Site!

It's wonderful that you are doing all you can for these cats.  Could I suggest you ask some questions on this thread? :

You'll find some really knowledgable people there.

In the meantime, we hope to hear more about how you're getting on

Thank you Purball. I'm glad there is this forum and other information on the internet. I hope all the kittens and the mother become happier living here. :wavey:
