Ok so it's summertime in Baltimore city, last year due to warm weather, we had so many "Palmetto" bugs, the cliche cockroach from the movies cover our streets.

1- If you know about roaches, almost all species but the german/brown cockroach can only survive inside, so they come in my basement through a little gap in bottom of door to die.

My kittens aquired one and great fun teasing it, evolution screwed this bug with a hard shell.

In context my cats eat raw, and are exposed to bone (via chicken pieces, chopped up rabbit).

If they take a hard bite and the shell, i mean exoskeltan brakes into 5 pieces, could that cut her throat inside or cause other problems?

2- Cicadas, this summer baltimore county (I pray not the city), billions of these little curseword(ive been warned) will crawl out of the ground and make the county so loud people have to talk loud outside.

If I remember right, when you step on em they make a gooey mess, wonder if kitties will like em or benefit?

This question prob belongs in raw food forum.

3. German Cockroaches-  these are the cursewords that get in your house and infest.  Before my kittens in this home, I loaded the house up with roach killer gel/paste, and plastic things.

Incase you didnt know, Fipronil is the main ingredient in these products, same as frontline plus (this does NOT mean it is safe to expose your cats, I have all of these traps guarnteed out of their reach).

Like Frontline, roaches eat the poisen, go back to nest, poop out poison, die, his buddies eat him and the poison and the world is right again.

Should I worry about them eating them, I doubt it (personally I think my poison keeps em at bay, I have a house that roaches would rove

4. Insects in general, are any toxic to our babies?

Mine LOVE palmetto bugs! And anything else unfortunate enough to get caught by them. No one has gotten sick yet.
