American Idol - finals

Down to the final 3 on Am. Idol. I thought Candice was amazing last night when she did Somewhere - from West Side Story. She got a standing ovation and deserved it.

Paul thinks Angie will win -- but I am still hoping Candice comes out on top. They're both really good --- what do you think (that is, if any of y ou are still watching this)

Hope Nicki will not be a judge next year. I heard that Harry Conick Jr. might be a new judge.

I've remained loyal to Kree    IMHO .. I think she'll do as famously in the genre of music that made Eva Cassidy, Natalie Merchant, Janis Joplin,  Sheryl Crow, etc. all household names.  Sadly don't think she got it done last night in comparison.

The DH and I also believe they will pick Angie.  I have to admit, although I don't care a lot for her pageant'ish look, it sells and she has the added plus of being one heck of a singer/performer.

And Candice .. my word what a powerful voice.  I'm not sure if she'll take the win, but she's been in my personal Top 3 and voted for weekly since the Top 10 were chosen.  
 
We too, hope that Nikki is long gone.  I can't believe that people aren't just hollerin at the top of their lungs online or by email to the producers that not only is she not funny, nor add anything to the show, her behavior on/off Idol is just a whole lot of things I can't say here  
 

Like I said in my thread I don't watch American Idol except for the auditions. I love to see who flops.

So I really don't care who wins this season. I'm waiting for the show,So you think you can dance. Here too; auditions only.

I'm shocked by the final two! I'm happy with it, but really thought Angie would be in the final two, and probably win it all.

Really thought it would be Candice and Angie in the final two. Kree is good (all of them are), but Angie really deserved it. Hope Candice wins next week. She is just amazing and has a great career ahead of her.

I really have not watched Idol this year other than a few shows here and there. I really liked Angie. Now I hope for Candice! I really love The Voice this year. I watch that every chance I get.

I've been so bored with Idol this year I've pretty much stopped watching it.  I did go watch videos of the final performances.  I liked Kree's Better Dig Two and not sure why the judges panned it.  I guess they just don't want her to win.  Candice's Somewhere was way too screechy for my tastes, and friends who are more musically inclined than me claim she was pitchy in several places.  Next season, I hope we get a better batch of judges (only THREE please) and some more diverse contestants, and NO MORE BALLADS.
