Thursdays Question of the Day 5.9.13

Thursday already. Whew.. week's flying by!

I was looking at photos of wild cats last night.. beautiful creatures!

my question is for fun.. If you could own a wild animal, any wild animal, what would it be and why? This is for fun, no worries about any potential dangers or the cost!

I would like to have an orca. I think it'd be a lot of fun to ride on its back and swim with it all day! I can just imagine the freedom to be with such a creature!

A cheetah as far as cats. I love the shape of their faces!

Non cat...hmmm...a shark. They are amazing creatures.

A rhino - they look so prehistoric.

The ultimate tabby cat - the Bengal Tiger.

lf l could unplug a wild animal from its life for a day and have it be tame, l would choose an elephant. l love elephants, they're beautiful and majestic creatures.

After volunteering for 4 summers in the 90s at a big cat sanctuary I would have to say my choice would still be a jaguar.   Having been able to interact with a 2mo old male that was delivered to the sanctuary from another similar center who was at capacity, and to watch Domino grow into the magnificent young man he turned out to be left a seriously large paw print on my heart.   At least every 3yrs I still visit the sanctuary when we are in Texas, certainly to see all the rest of the cats there, but specifically Domino.  Since he was born in '93 he is now an "old man" in cat years, but his gaze is still as mesmerizing as the day I met him. 

Good question!  I really dont know for me. DH would say a monkey.  Never. Ever. Will I have a pet monkey.  

I just   Panthera uncia/Uncia uncia. Glad, this, question does not have to be realistic . Since, that, is one exotic, that, I will most likely own for a myriad of reasons. Fun question though .
 

If I could have an wild animal maybe a shark if I had the right safe place for it or an eagle.

Me too. a Tiger, so beautiful & majestic!!!!!!!!  ......and maybe a giraffe.

A snow leopard. Totally agree with CatPerson.

A male lion. Absolutely a gorgeous creature!
