I think day 66 or 67 from last mating which I read online you find pregnancy shorter gestation than from counting from first (I have no clue when that was) but shes still fine this morning lying around with big dilated eyes she looks so cute but this morning you can really see her belly has dropped a lot think for last 3 weeks ive been miss reading the signs can be confusing sometimes but have been seeing them for 3 weeks and reading online it says 2 weeks before birth that also mucked me up I fort im not experienced in any way to feel them moving so early made me think she was real close too but I spose only a matter of days now they defo be here and I felt guilty as ive had her locked away for weeks now worried incase she had them outside as not been to sure about when to count and how many days to count then with her keep doing labour signs but shes going to be locked up for another 9/10 weeks until kittens gone and her and one we keeping have been done so wont have to do this again!

just quick question for anyone whos had kittens before do I have to teach them how to use the litter box? what age? what would be best tray to buy?  do the kittens all share one or is it 1 box per kitten? I know needs to be non clumping I use that already as lilly wont go in it if there clumping litters in there any advice on what you did would be great just worrying a bit as they will still be here when my baby comes as im going to keeping them with me till 11/12 weeks old so last thing I want is cat pee and poo over the place

I used foil baking trays (12in x 8in x 1 1/4in, or 30cm x 20cm x 3cm), which I introduced when I started introducing kitten food just after they were 3 weeks (but mamacat had her own ideas about that, scoffed the lot every time until she was ready to let them wean a couple of weeks later!)  The first litter I tried for them was a paper one.  They crowded round, and looked up at me with their mouths full, their expressions saying "is it a toy?  what do we do with it now?"  Helpless giggles.  That was a definite no no.  Went and bought some non-clumping stuff the next day, and left that in trays for them.  For the next couple of days, they tasted it, jumped or plodded thru it.  Then one day, mamacat was burbling encouragement behind me, so I looked over my shoulder and saw one of her boys making all the right paw movements, concentrating mightily as he dabbled the litter.  And behind him, a spreading puddle on the newspaper under the tray - he only had his front half in it!  The kittens mother will do most ot the teaching and encouraging - with luck you'll only have to help out occasionally.  They'll quickly grow out of mini trays.

well think its all happening shes done nothing but rip up my carpet meowing a lot the min she sees me (can only keep checking on her as partner not back form work to watch toddlers) shes been in and out the areas ive made up  for her since 1pm she looks really nervous and she licking my hands which she never does! and shes not relaxed for last 3 weeks when I check her shes just been lying on my bed tired but  today shes getting up then ploking on her side then getting up he should be home in hour- hour and half hope she lasts that long she don't want me to leave her she trying to follow me out the room but every loud noise is frightening her she keeps trying to get to the doors and windows and bit hard to make toddlers sit on sofa in silence while shes in labour I fort she seemed a bit over loving this morning and was randomly meowing and she slept in the box in my wardrobe all night shes mostly on carpet by the door but  I gave up with giving my self false hope so didn't think anything of it I have read this stage can take a while haven't really felt kittens move today just light movement yeaterday they was going crazy all day
