Saturday morning at 4 Woke up to roger throwing up. He had vomited what appeared to be his food and some grass. His stomach was upset and he continued to vomit ever hour or so foamy clearish white fluid until 10ish. I had called the vet in the morning and they recomended trying to feed him bland chicken and if he cant hold anything down to try and bring him in before they closed. Well by noon he seemed to be back to his old self. Was drinking lots of water and didn't care much for the chicken but had found his food bowl and ate that. My assumption at this point was that his new food did not agree with him.

Sunday was the same situation. from about 3 to 10 Roger was periodically throwing up every hour or so. By the afternoon he was drinking often and this time I kept him on some plain canned chicken breast (meant for humans) which he ate 3-4 tablespoons of.

Well around 10PM Roger woke up and barely made it off the couch before throwing up the chicken and a small amount of grass. He has been vomiting every hour or so but the fluid has been staying a green color.

I will be taking him to the vet ASAP in the morning, but am really concerned at this point. He did go poop Sunday at some point. It was really dark/black but solid. Is this a normal color?

At this point I am extremely concerned, hoping we can make it through the night.....

Thanks,

Hopefully by now he's at the vets.  Let us know what the vet says.

Sounds like some type of obstruction.

Vibes for Roger.

No answer on what caused Rogers's vomiting. The X-ray didn't show anything and a day or so later he was back to normal.
It was most likely the change in food.
