So I have an abondon kitten about 2 weeks or what not. He was belly dragging and eyes sealed last week. This week he's off thaw ground and bright eyed. My concern is ... I have a feral cat indoor/ out door male. If he has his ear tipped does that mean he has all shots as well. Don't want newbie to get him sick. He's up to date on rabies. Also is thawed something I can give kitten ( SIMBA) to help his amuine system? He did not get anything through mommas milk so...

I wouldn't let the male cat near the kitten for the time being for a couple of reasons. First, he may attack it. Second, they may each have germs the other hasn't gotten yet and thus may each get sick. The ear tipping means the adult cat has been fixed and had his first shots. Good that hes up to date for rabies but he should also have had follow up shots for distemper.

I do not know if the kitten milk replacement will have immune builders in it. Remember not to give the ktitten cow's milk.

Check in the kitten froum for more info. Thank you for helping them.

I agree with all Ondine´s comments.

Nay, i dont think kmr had immune builders.  A good alternative is goat milk, any goat milk is ok but raw is best if you can get it. It is possible raw goat milk does has some anti-bodies.  Thinking on it, it is probably why it is considered as the best.   :)

L-lysine is known to give some protection for some virus (not all), and also gives some immune boaster. But L-lysine is usually used on a little older kittens...

It seems you did very well, as the kitten is thriving now!

Tx a lot for helping these both buys, but twice so for this little one!

Keep reporting and asking!

Good luck!
