Kittens often rush right in and explore. Older cats, especially depending on their experiences, may take a little longer to adjust. Keep their routines the same and if you can, give them a room to themselves for a few days before introducing them to the house. Are they familiar with one another? If not, you may have to introduce them to each other, which will add to their stress. Just be patient, take it slowly and enjoy your new kitties!

Thank you for giving them a home. Older kitties are usually the last to be adopted, so you've saved two lives!

Bless you for adopting older kitties.  As Ondine said, they are often passed over when it comes to adoption, yet they have so much to give.  The advice above is excellent and I don't have anything to add except to provide them with some toys.  Not all older cats are into toys, but mine still take a play spell occasionally and love them.  Congratulations and a warm welcome to TCS!
