A foot of snow!!!

It was snowing yesterday evening, and by the time I went to bed it was quite the blizzard.  I woke up to about a foot of snow on the ground!  Some areas even had to cancel schools because of school bus cancellations.

We're expecting snow here too, tonight, we have a light mist going on right now. I'm in southern Nebraska. It's about 40 degrees, expected to drop a little bit. Wer'e only supposed to get a couple of inches though. I guess we need moisture any way we can get it. It was 80 degrees two days ago, and now highs in the 30's!

And now it's snowing again!

I'm 2 states above Nebraska, in Manitoba.

You can sure keep it all to yourself! I'd prefer 60 degrees and rain!

Linda, that's why we in the east call it "Winterpeg".  

Fortunately it is near 20 degrees here today and supposed to be the rest of the week at least.  Time to get into the garden.

Doesn't the weatherman know it's May? Just spoke to a friend in Minnesota and she was telling us about the snow they've had. She's getting really depressed and wants to come to Florida.

Heh, we got 6 inches of snow this morning and now it's gone. Just. . .gone. Maybe a few patches left under trees. Spring snow is so much better than winter snow that sticks around for 4 months. . ..

Oh boy.  I turned on The Weather Channel earlier to see they've had to start over with the alphabet for naming these storms!  My mother said she remembers getting a snowstorm in May when she was in high school.  But this year it just seems to be dragging out!!  I planted my garden 9 days ago and even the weeds are taking their time popping back out.
